Member of Parliament Lainda Westerhof (AVP) has decided to retire from Parliament. This after she was the first candidate of the AVP party to launch her personal campaign slogan and logo for the September elections and already started distributing her campaign materials during Carnaval a few weeks ago. Lainda decided to retire for "personal reasons" in a meeting with the party faction leader Friday afternoon. Norman Roos will replace Lainda Westerhof in Parliament.
