 Parents, teachers and students of Mon Plaisir College and members of Kiwanis Club of Aruba celebrated the establishment of the high schools’ Kiwanis Builders Club at Surfside Marina on Friday.
The process for the establishment of the club began in January. Miss Werleman and Kiwanis of Aruba members chose Renzo di Bono as the club’s first president. Twenty-two members also received their pins during the ceremony. The club’s first project is going to organize a pizza sale at school. As their first community project, they will be helping the Wilhelmina Cancer Fund during the fund’s annual fundraiser. The Juliana School also has a Builder’s Club, which is endorsed by Kiwanis Club of Palm Beach.
