Dr. Marie Therese Richard Hernandez of the Sorbonne University, Paris, France last year was on the island and invited local artist Mo Mohamed for a solo exposition in Paris, which resulted in a great success.
During Richard Henriquez' first meeting last year with Minister Michelle Hooyboer-Winklaar of culture the idea of establishing a Museum of Caribbean Art was discussed. During this visit, she presented a business plan on this idea to the minister. The content of the business plan will be discussed; in the meantime Richard Hernandez will continue in contact with Aruba for different cultural projects.
