Fast developments and population growth have caused traffic to become more and more congested. The so-called “ringweg-3” will be at the top of the list of discussions in Parliament next week, where the project will be presented as a solution for alleviating traffic jams by offering better connections between different districts and areas.

The government has brought in Dutch experts to help guide the project in a private public partnership. This partnership can result three times more expensive than the project should actually cost because of, among others, interest charges; the partnership would be a long and costly one. Minister Benny Sevinger of Infrastructure will have to defend this decision before Members of Parliament during the meeting. Members of Parliament have expressed that they have various questions, among others on the high cost of this project.
