Prime Minister of Curacao Gerrit Schotte said during a press conference in The Hague, The Netherlands on Friday that he has appealed the measure concerning the island's budget that was put on Curacao by the Dutch government. At present the Dutch government is considering the process to put the island's government under legal restraint. The prime minister's appeal will be discussed internally, but it was not announced when.
