Minister De Meza (AVP): Diamantberg is one of the island's most beautiful neighborhoods

This week Finance Minister Mike de Meza participated at the groundbreaking ceremony for the office out of which the renovation of Diamantberg and the FCCA neighborhood will be coordinated.

"I am extremely happy and proud to see that we have reached this point today. I was grew up in this neighborhood and as someone from San Nicolas, this is a neighborhood that you always pass through. I have many acquaintances living here. And always I have felt that Diamantbergweg, which is the most beautiful place on Aruba, for many years has not received the attention it deserves," De Meza said.

De Meza thanked his colleagues Prime Minister Mike Eman and Minister of Infrastructure Benny Sevinger, who work "day and night" on these projects, "creating five star neighborhoods like the hotels of Aruba."

Participating at the ceremony were Member of Parliament Chris Dammers (AVP) and Prime Minister Eman.
