Police officers honored for exceptional community service in 2011

Tuesday morning Minister of Justice Arthur Dowers, Police Chief Dolfi Richardson and Commissioner Trudy Hassel presented certificates to six member of the Aruba Police Corps for exceptional community service rendered during 2011.

Lubienshka Dijkhoff, Eduardo Bremo, Leandro Donato and Davidson Eduards were honored in the presence of family and friends. Edgar Maduro and Richard van den Brug received special mention for having acted swiftly, administering life saving first aid to a colleague when he fell ill at work.

Minister Dowers congratulated the corps for a job well done during 2011, encouraging the young honorees to continue motivated and excelling at their jobs in the benefit of the community in general.
