Traimerdia is a government financed island wide after school program, with more than 1200 children in attendance, from Monday to Friday.
Digicel, renewing its brand promise and launching “Be Extraordinary”, affirmed its promise to the extraordinary young people of Aruba by donating a special reading and Dutch language comprehension program to Traimerdia. Remko van der Veldt, Digicel Aruba general manager read to the children at the center at Pieter Boerschool in San Nicolas to introduce the program. Reading is entertaining and helps the child, but the adult as well, in the development of vocabulary and the ability to communicate. The project will certainly contribute enormously to our young people’s cognitive and academic knowledge.
