The works from more than 325 artists from the Caribbean are currently on display at El Museo del Barrio, Queens Museum of Art and the Studio Museum in Harlem for the "Caribbean Crossroads of the World" exposition in New York City.
The curators said they had a very hard time making a choice, as there were way too many works of quality to choose from. They had not only asked artists living in the Caribbean, but also from the diaspora to participate. The exposition also includes works from Aruban and Curacaoan artists, including Aruba's Toton Quandt, Ciro Abath, Padu Lampe, Osaira Muyale, Elvis Lopez, Ryan Oduber and Rob ter Haar. They include paintings, installations, sculptures and video art.
