Family and acquaintances of Javier Edmundo "Duti" Boekhoudt say he has been missing since December 20, 2011. He lived with family in Diamantbergweg. He was a complicated person and family had problems with him for which they would call police to help deal with him. He is a known drug addict. Family became alarmed when he failed to pick up his social security.

Tuesday around 11 a.m., authorities were notified that the crane on the wharf tipped over, when one of the legs of the crane failed to support the crane's weight. The crane was in use at the time.

The government has announced that as of Wednesday, March 14 the retail price of the following petrol products will know an increase. The new prices are: gasoline, unleaded, premium: 242.1 cent per liter (+12.2 cents); diesel LS: 217.4 cents per liter (+8.0 cents) and kerosene 212.3 cents per liter (+6.7 cents).

Monday morning a new motor that was under guarantee and had broken down in the testing phase was removed out of the water and electricity production plant, WEB and replaced by a new one. A special vehicle from ATCO was used for the transportation of the motors.
