| Aruba Tourim Authority celebrates 40 consecutive years of visit of Irma and Rudolf Hilberath to Aruba |

 Recently the Aruba Tourism Authority had the great pleasure of celebrating the 68th visit of 40 consecutive years to Aruba from Mr. Rudolf and Mrs. Irma Hilberath of Dusseldorf Germany. Irma and Rudy came to Aruba for the first time in 1972, and since then have continue visiting the Island, sometimes for multiple visits per year.
During their first couple of visits the couple used to stay with Irma’s uncle at Balashi, there is where they had their first serious suntan from the Aruba sun. During the next visits the couple stayed at the Basiruti hotel at Palm beach (location now the Playa Linda Beach Resort) in the 70ths, and this began their four decade long love affair with the Island. One of their favored pass time on the island are swimming and fishing and meet with the so many friends that they have all around the Island. The Hilberath’s have seen it all, the construction of many of our high and low rise hotels, the beginning of the first time share resort, and so they end up buying a time share at the Costa Linda Beach Resort, which is now their home away from home. Just last week the 16th of July Irma celebrated her 90th birthday at the Costa Linda with friends and staff members they met during the years. The staff and personnel from the Costa Linda are very proud to have the Hilberath’s as their members and they love them very much. Aruba Tourism Authority here by would like to thank and congratulate Mr. Rudolf and Mrs. Irma Hilberath with their 40th consecutive visit to Aruba and wishes the couple many more years of good health so they can continue visiting their home away from home Aruba. Mr. Ernest Giel representing the Aruba Tourism Authority presented the couple with memorable gifts from Aruba and Mrs. Gloria Janga and Mrs. Miriam Rodriquez from the Costa Linda presented the couple with champagne and other gifts.
