Friends of Playa Linda honored

Recently, ATA representative Marouska Heyliger had the great pleasure in honoring many loyal Aruba visitors with their distinctive certificates.

These certificates are a way to say “Masha Danki” for continuously choosing Aruba as a favorite vacation destination. The titles are as following: 10+ years “Distinguished Visitor” and 20+ years “Goodwill Ambassador”. The honorees are: James and Connie Dill from Massachusetts and Robert and Virginia Walsh from New Jersey as Goodwill Ambassadors. Frances and Jean Pierre Bemelmans from Pennsylvania as Distinguished Visitors.

Honoring Plante's at Westin

Recently, Aruba Tourism Authority had the great pleasure in honoring Mr. Bernie and Mrs. Lynne Plante at the Westin. The Plante’s have been coming to Aruba for over 17 years and love our island especially for the people and weather. They received the “Distinguished Visitors” certificate in commemoration over 15 consecutive visits to Aruba. On the photo you can admire the Plante’s, Jonathan Boekhoudt ATA representative, Frank Bermudez from the Westin who was nominated last year for the “Shoco Awards” and is their long time friend here on island.

Mr. Dennis and Gloria Kaczkowski honored at Divi Village

Recently Mr. Dennis and Mrs. Gloria Kaczkowski resident of East Jordan, Michigan were honored as Goodwill Ambassador after returning to Aruba for 27 years consecutive.

The symbolic honorary title is presented in the name of the Minister of Tourism as a token of appreciation to guests who visit Aruba between ten and twenty consecutive years. Ms. Darline S. de Cuba representing Aruba Tourism Authority and General Manager Mr. Gerritt Griffith and Mrs. Gloria Defoe and Mrs. Anna Arends conducted the ceremony held at Divi Village.

Top reasons for returning provided by the honorees were the Fantastic Sunset, Beautiful Blue Ocean, Friendly Aruban Hospitality and the Restaurant.
