On the Pos Abao road a driver suspected of DUI hit a couple from the back with his car, badly injuring the woman. The man was not injured as badly as the woman, but was in shock. Paramedics stabilized the woman, who suffered a head injury and possibly one or more broken ribs, before transporting her to the hospital. The man was also taken to hospital, in a second ambulance. The car's driver was detained; he is intellectually challenged and police suspect him of DUI. Police closed the road to investigate the accident.
