 Saturday in the early morning hours a person hit and run a homeless drug addict "Hassel" in the area of Zeewijk. Other drivers saw him at the side of the road and called emergency services, thinking he had become ill or was drunk. Upon their arrival police immediately called for an ambulance. It was concluded later that Hassel had been the victim of a "hit and run". He was badly injured and had a considerable cut to his head. Investigators found a bumper and tire marks.
