 Tuesday afternoon a woman who was on a bus with her boyfriend recognized a man who attacked her the week before. She was assaulted while walking home from work late at night.
She tried to run, but the man struck her in the face with his fist and threatened her with a knife. She resisted and escaped. Police was notified, but she never lodged a formal complaint.
The woman immediately called police to notify them that her attacker was on the bus. Officers from the beach patrol stopped the bus in front of Amsterdam Manor, spoke to the person who had called them and immediately requested a warrant to arrest the man. He was detained and interrogated.
