Just before 9 p.m. on Friday two people committed an armed robbery on the Ponton gas station. One employee said they were approached by two people with a machete and pulled his money pouch off his body. The employee received a cut on his right hand in the process.

The men left in a white Toyota Yaris. The armed robbery unit of the police started investigating the case, while police corps colleagues started searching the area and found a Toyota Yaris abandoned in Bushiri. Lacking proof, the police were not able to detain anyone.
